Thought it might be handy to have a spot where folks could post a wish from their wishlist. If' you've got something that might help out a member of the Nation, message them back. Either trade or buy/sell -- please specify!
Like particular boxes
particular strings
particular tuners
and whatnot.
You need to be a member of Cigar Box Nation to add comments!
She's got that add at the top right with the cat on fire.

Hi Diane--Just joined (haven't quite figured out this site yet but) sent a msg about looking for boxes in Southwestern Ontario, seems to be a real lack hereabouts. Anyone know of a place to purchase or who might have some to sell and send (in Canada?). I like best the ones about 11 or 12" by 8" by 2 or 3" deep, with dovetailed corners, needing at least two (labels don't matter). Have Paypal. Thanks, seeker
Hmm, so something that would take some abuse and be fretted like a standard guitar? Four strings? Would a piezo pickup work for you?

I'm in Kansas City, Missouri. I play a wide variety of music...rock, blues, ballads, gospel. Often it's just me and my CBG. I'm not sure what "strumstick style" is, though. I'm looking for a cigar box guitar with a good pickup, something suitable to handle a variety of music, but especially rock and roll. Any other questions come to mind? I know I'm probably being too vague.

I might be able to help you out with some of this, where are you located? What music do you play and what kind of instrument are you looking for? Blues? Folk? strumstick style? Hit me with some details. Not sure how the email works but send it to my inbox if you like. Bill

My wish list:
1. cigar box guitar pickup (I'm in dire straits and can't afford to buy any) 2. a cigar box guitar amp (I'm in dire straits and can't afford to buy any) 3. An electric CBG from anyone who would give me one in exchange for active and enthusiastic promotion, when I do concerts. (I love promoting other people's work!)
4. "Songs From Inside the Box" (I'm in dire straits and can't afford to buy any)
5. COHIBA cigar boxes. They're my favorite and difficult to find where I am.
