Wiring a magnetic pickup - first timer questions

Hi, I am wanting to do a magnetic pickup in one of the CBGs I am currently building and need advice about what is needed for this. Besides the pickup itself, jack, volume and tone pots, what else is needed? Any other electronic parts? I was going to purchase some stuff from cbgitty and was not sure if I need to add anything else to my order. Thanks for any help and advice, Mike

Thanks everybody. I appreciate the help. For the volume and tone pots is there anything I should make sure to get? When I did piezo it was suggested that 500k pots would be what to use. Not sure what I need for this. Also this was the pickup I was looking to get, is this a good choice or is there a better suggestion? I want to keep it kind of reasonable.

  You can go with a 500K pot if that's what you already have. But a soap bar pickup is a single coil, which typically use 250K pots.

The tone pot will need a capacitor. Single coils are often matched with a 0.022uF cap, humbuckers with 0.047uF, but other values are fine.

The other thing that is needed is a generous helping of mojo.
