Howdy folks, - I am building my first CBG.
With regards to sound:
1. Does it matter where in the box the piezo is located?
2. What would happen if it were mounted on the outside of the box (i.e. under the strings close to the bridge)?
3. How is the sound affected to glue the Piezo to the box, then cover it with a gob of glue?
4. What would happen if TWo piezos were used and should they be wired in series or parrallel?
More questions to follow.
Thank you ahead of time for your help.
Kind regards,
kieta

External mounting of Schatten pickups for resonators seems to work for them. See pics

location is key in the box .. all boxes are different you kind of gotta find the sweet spot , test different spots bt taping ot holding in in place .. usually cluse to the bridge is best .
outside the box would work , but may not sound as hollow or echo-y .
glueing to the box then covering it with a blob of glue reduces feedback , squeals , and unwanted horror movie screams ;-) (hot glue is best . )
2 parralle piezos would give you a :"fuller" sound .
and a mag pick up will make you realize how much piezos suck ;-) lol
