Drafting software

I wanted to draw up some plans before I started banging away on my next CBG. There are no drafting software packages in any of the local software stores. Lots of stuff for landscaping and archetecture, but I just need something that draws streight lines, dang it!

 

Are there any programs you folk recommend for a PC Vista (yech!) user?

    Inkscape isn't drafting but it is a good vector drawing program (that can draw straight lines) and won't cost you. Use Blender if you want to see it in glorious 3D.
