Hello all. I would like to build a ukulele with a resonator. I have made 4 CB ukes, so I have the basics. So what's next? I could use some photos and other relevent process tips. On one of the discussions, some one mentioned bridge placement on the resonator. What does this mean? What types of materials are used for the resonator? Thanks everybody. jh

StewMac USED to make a resonator guitar kit called the ResoMaster. No longer available, alas, but the instructions are still online. http://www.stewmac.com/freeinfo/Building,_general/Assembly/i-5291.html look them over, and you can see how such a thing goes together.

What type of material is used in a resonator? Anything that resonates (no help there). You can get a fancy cone from StewMac, grab one from old Lowe, you can use old things from a thrift shop or here's Roosterman spinning his own: http://www.cigarboxnation.com/video/spinning-reso-cones-at-home
