This is a banjo head in a box with a concert scale neck. I have just added some pics to show the build process. I am getting close and hope the sound is respectable. comments are welcome. jh

So it's a....resonating Banjo-head Ukelele? Or an enclosed short-neck Banjo? I suppose it depends on the strings at this point.
So are you planning a Concert Uke chord with four Gut or Nygut strings, three full Banjo strings like a Strumstick or the traditional three-and-a-drone or four-and-a-drone setup? Inquiring (and envious) minds would like to know!
Hey. The neck is made from a redwood 4x4 that I found in my garage. The fret board is rosewood from Woodcraft. I have since dyed the neck black with shoe dye and sprayed it with 3 coats of clear satin Crystal Clear Krylon. I will have a pic posted soon after I reattache the fretboard. jh
What kind of wood are you using for the headstock/neck? It looks cool!
