Wiring up my CGB

Can anyone help, I have purchased a single coil pick up with a chrome cover, what pots and capacitator should I purchase? Are 250K and 500K pots both suitable? Can ordinary thin wire be used? What input jack should I use? Any help appreciated as I know absolutely nothing about electrics, thank's in advance, Chris. :)

    Chris, usually with a single coil you use 250k pots and a .023uf capacitor, but 500k/.047uf are also usable.  A standard 1/4" mono output jack is used.  Here's a wiring diagram to help:
