One for the "Stupid Mistakes" list...
I just took my new stick out of the clamps after the glue dried, and when I picked it up it rattled like a baby rattle. I had installed peizo pickups before gluing the soundboards down, and the wiring harness was too long, and a loose loop of wire was rattling around inside...very noisy... <Sigh>
Since my method of using electrical tape clearly has it's issues, how do you keep the wiring from rattling around inside an Acoustic/Piezoelectric hollow body?

A dab of hot glue will do it. Is there an access panel or a sound hole where you can get to the wire. If it's not easy to get to it, you may be able to bend a coat hanger with a glob of epoxy or duct tape on the end of it and try your luck that way. Good luck!
I've stuck the wires down using silicone adhesive with good results. Duck tape would probably work well too.
