Comment by econnofoot on April 15, 2011 at 12:36am: Greetings pickers! I was kinda surprised wasn't an existing banjo group so figured I'd make one. And give a place to talk all things banjo. A little about me to kick it off, I'm a pretty mediocre player of 5 string, started in 05 somewhat seriously as an alternative to frustration at acoustic guitar. I enjoy the instrument in all forms of music, particularly old school jazz and I love my bluegrass.

Been looking to get a proper tenor soon and have some build ideas brewing as well.
