it seems as though everywhere I look the stems on jacks pots and switches are too short to fit through the box and get the nut on. Is it just me or is this a common thing with everyone. Does anyone know where to get this stuff with longer stems to fit through the sides of boxes without having to alter the box ? I'm also getting tired of spending $3.00 a piece at rat shack for this stuff. Any cheaper places to buy in bulk? I really enjoy building my own amps but the cost of materials is killing me. HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mouser.com .....
Mouser Part #: 568-NYS229L (Neutrik)
Mouser Part #: 502-L-11 (Switchcraft)
Mouser Part #: 502-L-12B
All these have 3/8 bushings ^^ .
For amp inputs , I'd use the 12B . It's 3 bucks, but good quality , and can be used as an on/off switch ,since it's 3 conductor. More info here
