I found this interesting amplifier on Ebay. Not one bit of information was found online about the unit. Hmm...
After further searching, I discovered that the founder of the Orrtronic Company was J. Orr, of Opelika, Alabama. Mr. Orr was instrumental in bringing magnetic tape technology to America from captured German prisoners in WW2.
The only other device I could find reference for was a 2-track tape tube amp player. Oh well...
Fortunately, one of the cabinets has the original schematic attached, so I can work from that to re-build the tired old lady into a guitar amplifier.
It has 4 inputs and a selector switch for tuner, tape, phono, and TV. These will be kept intact and operational. I will add a 1/4" input jack and restore the tube amplifier so it can live on.
Bonus, a vintage 6" Jensen Professional Series ceramic speaker inside. The extension cabinet has two more different speakers.
