I ran a simple piezo transducer in my first CBG, and glued it onto the inside of the bottom of the box. I'm wondering if the pickup is better mounted on the neck? I want better tone and less sensitivity to noise. Also, trying to lessen the feedback from the amp...

are you working with a bare piezo? if not take it out of the housing...
Think about underside of the top, under the (close to) bridge location....
Feedback and noise can be greatly cut down by encasing the back with something soft... (foam, hot glue, my favorite... silicone caulk)....
the tone quality goes up sharply the close you get it to the bridge.... you could even mount if under the bridge, between bridge saddle and the top....
