What volume control....?

Hi, I am currently wiring up a piezo pick up into a nylon string box, and suddenly realised that I do not know what kind of volume control should be used. I know that a single coil needs a 250K ohm, and a humbucker 500K ohm, but I do not know what to use in a piezo arrangement. Any answers?

I only built a volume control into one so far, my resonator, but I used a RS piezo on that and a standard 250K volume pot worked just fine.
