Hi all!
I've not posted here for almost three years, but I have just had to re-wire my 'six-banger' electronics and have some left over parts some of you may be interested in.
I created a twelve position 'varitone' tone control that sounds beautiful with my P90.
A Varitone is essensially a switch for choosing different tone capacitors.
Mine has 12 different positions and each tone sounds great, I'm really pleased with it in my six string CBG.
I had enough bits left over to make two more.
I have no immediate use for them, so I have put them up for sale on ebayUK
There's a lot more info on them on the listing, so please take a look if you're interested.
I hope you don't mind me posting a link here.
I have attempted to add a picture here, it shows my switch mounted with a pointer-knob and a watch-face for a dial. I think it finishes it off really nice.
Thanks for reading, and if you'd like more info on how to make one for yourself, I'd be happy to help.
Cheers!

Oh Oh Oh...I'm a huge supporter of tone pots......I'm adding you as a friend...got a custom build coming up.....will you think you'll have any problem shipping too Canada?
Glad you like!
I don't think Canada should be any problem. I'd have to wrap them up tight though!
I don't know how much the shipping would be, though. You can contact me via the ebay listing if you want to figure out a price for shipping.
Thanks,
Matt
that's hella cool
;-)
Cheers, pick!
Looks cool, but the best thing is the tone. I can get bright tones to cut through the bass, or reach some pretty convincing 'woman-tones'. (Clapton's fingers not included ;)
yeah i bet .. i'm intrequed .. and Canadian also lol.
