    hummm..  "universal  " ?     wonder  if  it  could   wind a  fender  trapezoid pickup .

    most  experts  wont  even   try  .

    It will, for sure. But you don't need to buy a $9 set of instructions to make a winder. I made mine from a sewing machine I found in the street and a pedometer my daughter brought home from school in a crappy little goodie bag from some event or other
