I'm working on my tenor Ukulele putting in fret markers. I see some here that have them in space 3, 5, 7, 10, 12 and 15. I looked on the internet at tenor Ukuleles and most appear to have the first marker in the 5th space. Is there a reason, am I seeing it wrong, does it matter... where should they be?

I just built one myself; seemed to me that with the very short scale length and the fact that the first "position" is pretty much normally covered by your fingers...Likely a 3rd fret marker is not necessary.
