Hi, I've been making a lot of cbgs and diddley bows with slothead type headstocks...so, I've got a lot of unused nickel plated, metal tuner bushings available. These are from the Saga music basic tuners from Elderly Instruments. They are also very similar to the nickel bushings sold by CBGittty: https://www.cbgitty.com/cubecart/instrument-hardware/6pc-nickel-press-fit-tuner-bushings/prod_370.html

Those are 67 cents each...mine are 25 cents each. I'd like to sell them all as one lot, but will break them up. If you only get 6, shipping might outcost the bushings. PM with a zip code and a number you'd like and I'll give you a quote.

Best,

Chester

  • How many bushings do you have? I'm definitely interested, probably in the whole lot! I make mostly CB banjos using Stew-Mac economy banjo tuners that come with these horrible (unusable, for my tastes, really) plastic bushings, so I have to order bushings separately, which don't fit the tuner shafts very well (a little too big). Yours look like the standard 1/4" bushings I like, so if you don't want 'em, I'll take 'em!  Here's my e-mail: tktreadway@aol.com
  • Well, Chester, I'm all set, but sb. may consider an "upgrade" like this:
