Hi Folks,
I just ordered a cigar box guitar from C.B. Gitty (the basic model, via Amazon).
I discovered the cigar box guitar (and the diddley bow) on a YouTube video featuring Scott Ainslie:

At the moment, I use tenor guitar initially tuned CGDA (currently tuned to BGDG) to simulate the feel of a cigar box guitar.
As I was looking for some information on the internet regarding the chords corresponding to this new tuning of my guitar, I found the following site, which will give you all the possible chords you can build with a guitar which has 3 strings or more, in any possible tuning.
http://tpn.lowtech.org/chordgen.php
(the sit is called : "Theo's Banjo Chord Generator")
In addition to displaying cords in a given tuning, the chord generator also creates a map of the fretboard in any possible tuning.
Serge.

Very useful! You should repost this to the 3 and 4 string tunings / chords pages.
I would be glad to ! Could you please send me the link to the page(s) you are referring to, I am not yet very familiar with this site yet.
Thanks,
Serge.
