does anyone know how to attach the neck to a tin box,

without screwing the front of the tin to the neck running

under it? i saw a couple pictures where a wood block

was used under the neck or some kind of bracing

that runs inside the tin box but i'm not sure if poxy

was used to secure the wood or not. any ideas?

  • Probably, but I wouldn't trust the bond. If it starts buzzing after you've strung it up, it is a real pain to take it apart to fix.

would glueing the base wood to the tin work?
some kind of epoxy glue, from the tin to wood?

  • I did some this way, but I think I put screws in the lid anyway to kill off some buzz. It is screwed in from below, too.
