Hey Thanx Kid - If I could combat the darn mosquitos it would be total paradise!!! That's the driveway at my shop, like I said, it's such a mess I had to take the picture outside.
I should post a pic of that and see what the captions would be!!!!
OK - I've been away for a few days but I've got my experiments done - the "clamp porcupine" eventually turned into one of these (left). The acoustic sound is pretty good, the electric is still a work in progress. So far I've used a piezo in the neck parallel with one foam taped to the pan. Any suggestions??

Yep - 2nd spot up just to the right of the parts tray!!!!! I was hoping I could sneak past with that one!!!
I was thinking of using a pair of channel locks and an elastic band but gave that a second thought!!
The worst part is that I had to move it outside - there was no way to distinguish this mess from the mess on my work bench!!!!
