Our first Skype conference call went very well. There were essentially no technical issues to speak of, and the call clarity was very good. From start to finish, the call lasted about 2.5 hours, but it sure did not seem that long.
We had roughly 14-15 people altogether, with the US, the UK, and Greece represented. A lot of good information was passed along, and it was great to be able to "meet" the folks that we have been corresponding with on the forums.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by and helped make this event a success!

Yes thank you. Having never done anything with Skype I didn't know what to expect. But it was above and beyond what I was hoping for. Wish I could have stayed the whole time.(and had a mic) I have my fingers crossed that there might be another in the future. And thanks to all the other members who attended and shared info. Gained some knowledge... had some laughs... I'd say it was a deffinate success too.
Hi Dan.
A very big thank you to everyone who took part and to you in particular for putting it together so well. It was really something special to learn from some true experts in the fields of playing and building, including specialities such as pickups. I really learned a lot and also enjoyed it too. As you say, the time just slipped by.
By the way, I put a link to the finger picks that I mentioned and Dion put up a picture of the amp and speaker he was talking about. They are both now part of the original post about the conference here.
Thanks again.
John
