Hi firstly Cbg virgin in all repects build, post, discussion. Ok using a chisel box 2"D x 12"H x 13"L I have drilled 4 holes each 7/8"ths diameter 2" in from both edges of box and have used some stainless steel poly pipe inserts. They are really tight fit but the length of the inserts protrude into the body of the box to with in 3/8"ths of the back of the box, they do not rattle or vibrate when you tap the box. will they transmit the sound ok and should I glue them in? Sorry no photo yet but will post 2mrw.

I wouldn't forsee any problems, but... got a hack saw? just cut of the "thru the lid" excess and yes, I'd glue them... I've had trim rings fall out during preformance (preformance interuptus), a little embarressing.

Sounds like it will look good... let us see hear it when it's done.
