  • I've used "computer grommets" as well. They are plastic grommets you put in your desktop to prevent wires from chafing on the sharp edge of the hole. Usually 1 1/2". They come in black, gray, chrome, or gold; I get 'em at the small-parts bin at my local hardware store. If you bought a computer desk, you may have a few lying around as they usually include more than you need.
  • Curtain grommets might work for holes to. They come in sizes about the size of closet pole hangers.
  • I think their just called sound hole covers. Stew mac has them under resonator parts. I've been using decorative drain covers from my hardware store.
  • The larger ones that I use on my guitars are called Closet Pole Sockets and are found in the closet shelving area at Lowes. They have about a 1 3/8" opening and come with the mounting screws. I just bore a 1 1/2" hole and drop em in. 2 to a pack for $1.47. One socket in each pack is full round and the other has a cutout. You'll see what I mean when you look at them. Here's a pic so you can see one on a guitar. Jeff Jeff
  • most of the brass ones are tarp gromets I think they get them at home depot or true value. I usually use drain covers. There are also a few other ideas out there but can't recall them all right now
