Someone uploaded a image of a older black man playing a gas can guitar that had the neck like a lowbow, the typical two broom handle set up. If someone can find that pic for me or tell me where to see it that would be awesome, I am seeing a oil can guitar build here in my future, more like a wd40 can build. Anyhow, I like the lowbow neck setup, for simplicty sake.....thanks.

Thanks for coming through for me you guys, these pics are awesome, the only obstacle I have now is to figure out how to mount the neck. I am using two used broom handles, I cut them and split them down, and it may be too much, I don't really know....I have not had a chance to work on it really much at all.....we shal see.....thanks again.
Jerry, I can't promise anything, but I sent Mac a note asking if I can get some closeup shots of the guitars. It might be after Christmas -- he's playing locally on the 26th of Dec. so that might be a great chance. Plus I would love the shots too.
That was me. I live in the vicinity of Mac. Here's pics of him and his guitars I took July 4 of this year.
Keep in mind that his guitar was built in the 50's as a repro of the original built in the 40's by his brother Leroy. It's not a lowebowe, but shares some of the same features.
