Hello everybody
I'm new to the world of CBG, but eager to build my first guitar. I'm planning to craft a 4 strings one, and here is my question: i want a dirty, overdriven bluesy sound, which i known i won't get with a piezo. So i'm looking at magnetic pick ups, but it is never specified whether they will do with 4 strings. What would you advise me?
Thanks a lot,
PS: sorry if i'm adding an already existing discussion, feel free to redirect me if it is so.

I like the rail type minihumbuckers - cheap and look good with all string numbers as there are no bobbins to line up.

It is coil tappable.
Often if you search for voucher codes you can get 5% or 10% off (they send from Hong Kong so takes 3 or 4 weeks to arrive and you need to keep below the import duty allowance.)
would recommend using humbuckers, many on here sell their own custom single coil or humbucker pickups, or CB Gitty's online store, the ones i use are from Nation member Elmar Zeilhofer from his Klangbox website,

Thanks, those seem to sound really good. I may end with one of these, if i cannot find anything a little cheaper (my student's bank account speaking)!
