Hey guys, couldnt find anything in the forums.
Looking put a lowes brass cone in my next
build but just wondering how to install it.
Was thinking I'd just cut out the hole to size and
House the cone in as it comes, nothing else except
To make sure the the bottom of the cone does not
Touch the bottom if the box!
Is this right? I know nothing about resos except for
The stuff on this fantastic site.

Sounds right to me. I haven't bought one yet but I remember when he first came out with them he posted a video showing how easy the installation was. I think it went like this: cut hole, place cone it hole, screw in place (but not too tight because you might warp it).
That sounds right. I have done 2 like that. Check Lowe's page and ask questions. Helpful guy. I think you need a 7 inch or wider box. Plenty strong on my builds. For the biscuit/ saddle, I made oval wood biscuits with slots for the actual saddle and a dowel that goes into the center hole of the reso.
