My Polyurethane Turned White....
I just put a few coats of spray polyurethane on a My Father Cigar box last night. The top and bottom of the box look fine, but along the edges the polurithane turned totally white in big spots. Has this ever happened to you?
It looked ok once I was done spraying it, but this morning is when I noticed the white areas. I believe that I'll be able to buff out those spots with either some fine grade sand paper or steel wool. Is there any particular way I should buff it out?
Did I do something wrong while I was spraying it?

Urethane will suck up moisture and turn milky white. I would rub it out with 0000 steel wool and try it again. Just make sure the box is totally dry, and that the humidity is not too high.

Stop using poly and switch to spray laquer. Dries quick and is easy to repair, if needed.
