Hi Guys,
Well I have finally got one together, its been a bit of a learning curve !!!
I had not found this site when I had started it, so I had no idea what I was doing.
I think the next one will be a fretless, and the tips I have picked up from here it
should make the job easyer.
I have nowhere to build, so this was a kitchen table job, done to a very low budget.
The neck is oak (the most expensive bit £6)
The box cost me £1 (From a great cigar shop I have found)
The frets are cocktail sticks.
The machine heads I got from E-bay, less than £5 including postage for a full set (So I have 3 left for my next one !!!) they came from China, they took a while to get here, but for the you connot go wrong.
Its fitted with a piezo pickup £4 E-bay.
Waterslide transfer £2 E-bay.
And the rest is just bits and bobs I had hanging around.
Anyway I thoght I would share my first effort with you.
Planning my next one allready !!!
