My first

CBG,I made it a coupla years ago, fretted it last year and it didn't tune up right,so I just kept it as a slider.

Its the only fretjob I've done and I was discouraged.

Today I was fixing the tailpiece and it totally came together.I put a real thin nut and bridge on it and it frets just like a guitar.

Its rad,I'm super stoked on it.I can play GnR,AC/DC and Stairway w/o any intonation problems, fret buzz.its just super fun to play, and now its at its full potential.

  • Nice lookin little box !! How about a close up or 2???

  • Looks great buddy! I can't get away from frets myself. 21 builds now and all are fretted. I guess I feel I'd be back at square one again if I was to try to play a pure slide guitar. One day...

I'd love to see a vid from you. Maybe some of your CBG metal?
