My buddy is into comic book, horror type figures. He just started making his own, today a comic book shop took 2 complete sets on consignment.
He painted the 2nd CBG I built w/ a western zombie theme(haven't seen it yet) and showed it to the owner,he said if he had 3 ready he would have taken them right then.So he wants one for display for sure, then go from there.Possibly provide the boxes(that's whats killing my budget) and try to sell them in his shop.
Now all this is super loose, and I haven't met the owner yet,but it feels pretty cool the second cbg I built that somebody wants one.
My buddy also showed it to a couple of his other art buddys and they dig the whole concept too,CBG's and zombie cowboys. They called it a prison guitar.lol
I've been having a really hard time as of late, and even if nothing comes of it,atleast I know I'm in the right direction w/ my CBG's and someone I don't even know digs my work, and my buddys artwork is a foot in the door if I ever decide to start selling.

I forgot to say,I don't go into business w/ buddys.It never works.
Nothing will come of it,just cool somebody liked my 2nd build(fun!).
Slowpaw Steve T is that a little Marshall?
I'm currently playing thru 2 Zakk Wylde mini-stacks.I retired my JCM800 50wt stack, too much for a small room.
it's Marshall Haze head, i 've swapped it for a combo now (-:
Cool,how does it sound?
My low watt amp is a '65 Kalamazoo 15w tube and I slam it w/ a tube screamer.
The solid state amps are great, but if you want some tone you need tubes.
nice ideas mr Sawbones, but don't put all your eggs together til you get a good offer, practice building and designing for yourself before you break out...I made a Batman CBG, everybody loved it but no-one wanted to buy it, luckily it sounds great to record from and I use it to lay down my rhythm tracks and used it live once so its a keeper! Sweet Build!
