I have a question? Am looking to get an amp for using CBG and stompbox at same time and am looking at the Peavey bandit 112 and the Fender Champion 100. Any thoughts on these two and if they are even what I need? I know little about amps.

Ok, I have a Fender Champion 20. The only downside to his amp is it only has one channel. I have had many comments on the great sound from this amp.If the Champion 100 is anything like it's little brother,it will be amazing.
My advice in don't put a stomper box through a guitar amp - it won't give you anything like the low end thump that you need, even with a 12" speaker, they just aren't designed for it, either in terms of the speaker or the frequency response of the electronics Also there's good chance you might blow out the speaker. The best bet is to rely on the PA at the venue - I ALWAYS put my stomper board either through the house PA, or my own PA if there isn't one at the venue.
Thanks John. I was wondering if I should run it through the guitar amp or not. Even though about a bass amp. A PA is an easy pickup for me. I have a friend that has offered me one he no longer uses. I'll get it and see how it does. Glad all y'all are out there and helpful.
A bass amp is a good alternative for a stomperboard, especially if it's got a decent graphic or parametric EQ on it.
Hey, I see you're in West Monroe! I was born north of there in Eldorado, AR. One of my buds, Chris Albritton, is good friends with the Robinsons of Duck Dynasty fame. We lived out Youree Drive in the early 60's in Shreveport, not far from the LSU Medical School (I remember when they built it; we were surrounded by cotton fields then). Made that drive up through Shreveport to Eldorado for 40 years, until my grandparents passed away.
Drive down to the Guitar Center at 7400 Youree Drive, and test drive one of the Roland Cube series, starting with a Micro Cube. Lotsa people here swear by 'em.
Hi Ron. I grew up south of Shreveport in what is now Southpark Mall area. Was nothing but a creek to skinny dip in back then.
I will be playing in my music room (converted bedroom), on the front porch, back lots and a small church house.
I also know a few Albrittons. Have a photography business. And they also know the Robinsons.
I'll check out the Guitar Center next time I'm in S'port. I go visit my Mom alot.
