looking for 1/16" hardwood

Does anybody know of any good online sources for 1/16" thick dark hardwood, preferably mahogany or walnut? I am looking for at least 3.5-4" wide, so the Midwest hobby boards are not an option.

I never thought of peghead veneer. That may cover it. Thanks.

Buy the thicker stuff, then use a thickness sander or a Wagner Safe T Planer (attaches to your drill press) to get it thinner.

i think maybe for to get it that thin you really need to asking for veneer?

Yes. Nothing smaller than 1/8th thick.
