Lonnie Mack RIP

One of my top favorite guitar heroes and blues rock pioneer has passed away. If you're not familiar with Lonnie from back in the 60's, you might remember him from his album with Stevie Ray Vaughan.

    Yes, he was very big influence on SRV. 

    Double Whammy = Wham

    Scuttle Buttin' = Chicken Pickin'

    I was fortunate enough to get to see him three times live. Always great shows.

    Had to give him a listening to. Man I can hear a lot of stuff SRV got from this guy.

    I wasn't aware of him and based on the names in that article, I've been missing out.  Sorry to hear he passed, but thanks for posting.
