OK. I've made em, strung em and tuned em, now all I gotta do is play em !
I am thinking that I should get a few lessons at least just to learn a bit of basic theory about cords and stuff. So do I look for a tutor of guitar, banjo, or ukelele? Or does it matter?

Search YouTube for "Cigar Box Guitar Lesson" to get a few basic ideas and pick one or two that you seem to connect with. That will get you started.

Thankyou gentlemen.
I believe that I will follow all of your advice. I think in my case it will be benifical if I have some one keep keeping me honest. Whilst I am very self critcal during construction, I am not the one to pass judgement on the playing.

Here is a very good site for raw beginners. It costs about $40-50. Money well spent I think.
