Not too long ago, the switch that selects between On/Off/Overdrive starting crackling something fierce, and I had to wiggle the knob around to keep it from cutting out. I thought maybe there was some dirt in the switch, so I put some contact cleaner in it, but it didn't really help much.
The other day I went on Korg's web site and filled out a support email form and told them what it was doing. I am sure it was out of warranty, and I didn't have the receipt any more anyway. I figured nothing ventured, nothing gained.
I got an email from them saying they would replace it if I got an RMA from them and send the original unit back to them. I told them that I would request the RMA and send it back. So I sent them the name/address/phone information.
I got an email today telling me they were going to send me a new amp tomorrow, and that I didn't need to send them the defective one!!
I thought that was pretty good customer service considering I had no proof that I even bought one of their amps and I had no idea exactly when I bought it.
Public props to Korg for fixing me up!!!
