    • The open strings of the Kelstone are muted so that when you hammer and release a note, you don't always hear the open string.
      Because the muting material between the nut and the 1st fret we have opted for a zero fret so that the notes on the dot positions are the same as on the guitar.
      To play harmonics you pick a note on the neck and think of that note as an open string. The harmonic of that note will then be 12 frets higher. Other harmonics will lie 5 and 7 frets up.
      With the right hand you place a finger just on top of the string, touching it but not pressing it and with your left hand you hammer the note. This will make you hear the harmonic.
