Got the working bits form E bay. The 9 volt battery lasts quite a few hours, I get them from work so they have already been used but this little thing does not seem to draw a lot of power. The photo of the insides is before I got it all together, I forgot to take a photo before I closed it up, just imagine the parts nicely secured inside the box. I have it connected to a piezo. Maybe messing with a different speaker or pickup might give it a different sound, cant tell this is my first. I will have to buld a CBG with a PU.
So hows it sound, well just great, gives that slide that little bit of extra twangier warble, but at half a amp it will not rattle the windows which is fine for me. It was fun to build, once I got some help from you guys, thanks for getting me onto the right track:

The speaker would not fit in the box any other way, the box was just a hair short, so it would not go inside the box, it was the deepest box I had on hand so it had to go on the outside or nothing, well maybe build a deeper box or find a deeper box. At the time I figured I would put it in this box and later move it to a better box, well that was the reasoning at the time, now, might as well build another one when I find a better box.
Nice of you to the time to offer improvements, that's the only way I can learn, I thank you.
Cheers Ron.
