Ideas

Here is a little sneak preview of a build I am working on. She's called the 'Beast'. Could someone tell me how on earth I am supposed to put tuning pegs on her. I decided to just let the guitar design itself and since I work on a farm I just used what I found. Unfortunately most of what I found was cast iron. HELP!! I'm out of my depth.

  • Use the pick points for sympathetic harp strings.
  • Yep, I like that idea of tail mounted tuners and maybe a counter balance while you are at it?!

  • what  dan said  ,

or , add a  short fret board   that leaves  space  before  the pick  and    put  your tuners  there  .

    • Can't you use the hydraulics off a 9N??? There should be some chain tensioners on your manure spreader or the bale elevator???

Just funnin' with ya Rich!!  :-) Looks like a very unique build!!!

Just noticed the Iceland part! You may not have too many 9N's over there!!!

  • Put the tuners on the tailpiece instead. Put eyelets on the back side of the "headstock", and run the strings up and over the metal part.

    • Good thinking. Have you seen any other builds with this format. Something I could copy.

      Thanks
