Many years ago (far more than I care to admit)  I was given a cassette tape (dating myself again) of some English novelty songs, Bonzo Dog Band, Neil Innes, Eric Idle, and others.  One song was about flies, going something like this:

"I'm so glad that I'm a fly,

I really wonder why.

I'm glad that I'm a little fly,

ooh ee ooh ee ohhh"

Does anybody recognize it and can tell me who wrote it? Its been driving me mad for years

Thanks,

Tom

  • That was it!  I used to sing it to my grandkids and I think Gia will appreciate it more. I found a download site that has the album. I was looking ofr that for years.  Thanks!

  • Possibly "I'm A Fly" by Roger Ruskin Spear from his solo album "Electric Shocks"
