Help with speaker choices

I have some very unique boxes that I want to make an amp out of. On C B Gitty they show a kit but you only get one speaker and I need three. Not sure where to buy and what to ask for. This will be a big box so I would like more than the 2.5 watt amp kit that they sell and as I said I need more speakers

    I've not made any small amps, but i'd venture to guess that the best quality and most rugged small speaker might be made for installing in car door skins..

    I get my cbg amp speakers from old stereo speakers at thrift shops (like Value Village, Savation Army)...never pay more than $4 each, and sometimes I get a pair for the same. Most stereo speakers I look for are in the 3-8 inch size, 8 ohms, and 2 to 20 watts.

     

    The circuit I make is a simple 1/2 watt using a LM386 IC that runs on a single 9 volt. It can be built as a "head" and will easily run a 4x10 cab at bedroom volume levels.

     If you want bigger wattage, Guitar Fuel (find em on Ebay) makes circuits in 2, 3, and 5 watts...with some including tone, overdrive, and ac adapter input jacks to get away from the 9 volt battery stigma.

    You can always find a cheap 10W amp on ebay, gut it and cram it in a box
