  • Thanks. He offered some great advice and said that it was a great build. He also suggested some changes that I woulda never thought of.

So Ben Prestage just played a show in town for me and I took this CBG to get his opinion.... Let's just say he approved.

  • Nice CBG model, I'm sure you're proud of her. Actually I like your sound holes... they have a nice "prim" relic'd look. One thing I might suggest is some kind of position markings/fret lines.. they really help playing, especially in the beginning... I do prefer fretless, it makes you listen...

    Good job...

  • I'm on my second build. Building my daughter her own.
  • The cuts are sloppy as shit and the paper ripped from the masking tape, but I used some stain from the stick to cover up the torn paper.
  • Anderson, Great first build !!! The main thing is that YOU built it . Not something off some prodution line.... Like Joe said each one will be different and get better as you do . If your like me half way through a build your already thinking about what you will do for the next one :-) Great job , keep it up...
  • Thanks man! I'm super happy about the way it turned out... I already ahve little tweeks here and there for the next one that I'll be starting tomorrow when the boss takes his afternoon nap.
  • hey man that's a great lookin little guit' you oughta be proud and there's nothing wrong with those sound holes, they just say you ain't scared to go for it! So you workin on your 2nd, 3rd one now? They get better with each build! keep it up and have FUN!
