Maple neck, oak fretboard, bicycle spokes for frets. It's far from perfect and it still needs a few tweeks to lower the action, and I'll never use that wide of a neck again, but I am hooked! Already starting builds for my roommate and his daughter.

  • That neck width looks like it would work very well for a 6 stringer. If you find it is too wide for you  adding a couple more strings looks doable.

  • Excellent work Andrew!

  •  Looks Great, working on my first right now as well, also used oak as a fretboard.

  • Nice!

  • I love the crumb cup. So cool and so inexpensive. Nice touch.
  • Thanks guys. This is all so very addicting. Once I got to a gluing stage on my second build I began working on my third. Now I have two guitars and a fiddle in the building process, and four more in the planning stages :-)

  • That looks very nice. You did a great job with it.

  • lookin  guuuud   ;-)

  • Looks Great Andrew! I too have just finished my first and started my second.
