First 3 string

Im looking for opinions about what fret scale length might be best for a 3 string CBG. If possible, benifits of different lengths thanx, Daryl

I think this would depend as well on the type of strings you use, and also what is comfortable for you. I like to use quite light strings (Electric) on a 630mm scale for a 3 string, which is about 24 3/4". Everyone who plays mine seems to find them pretty comfortable. If you're considering fretting the guitar working in mm is recommended!

  Thats what I'm using and Im thinking about 61 cm total length. Im using a smallish box and didnt want to dwarf it with too much neck.
