  • Good to see and hear another Nation member making pickups. I read your web page description of these pups, and listened to the sound samples. I would have to agree that although they are not humbuckers, they have a darker tone than a single coil is perceived to sound like.

As a fellow member, guitar builder, and pickup winder, I can appreciate seeing another's enthusiasm and pride in creating something by hand.

I do, however, and with all due respect, believe that your description of how others who wind their own pickups is misleading and incorrect. While commercial pickup companies do use automated machines that move or feed the coil wire in a sterile pattern, Nation members who wind their own pickups do that by hand. Your ad suggests and reads otherwise.

In addition, your tone and use of phrases like "cheap hobby magnets" to compare other pickup winder's products from yours is as uncomfortable to read as it is for me to say this.

In all seriousness, I wish you success. The preceeding is my own observation, and hope it is received with as much respect as it was given.
