From the "Why Didn't I Think of That" Department...
In this easy tutorial video, Louie LaManna shows how to take two different woods (in this case, walnut and oak), tape them together and cut a cool Mississippi River design that runs the length of the fretboard.
Note: It is very important that both pieces of wood are the same width and thickness.
