had an apartment in the same building as Son House while he was missing 24 years... SH borrowed his guitars and they hung out between him being drunk.. SH Damn near froze to death once after passing out in a snow drift... SH told the stories and when it all came to light it was all true.. Joe Beard is a wonderful guy and is currently doing another interview about Son House in South Carolina.. nope I can't say I know him personally but I have talked with him... Preachin the Blues is a book written about Son House and his missing 24 years and Life ... newly released.... latter
