I received an e-mail supposedly from CBN from a female who wants to date me.  Now I don't hate females but I prefer men.  Why does this girl assume I am looking for a date? I checked my profile and there is nothing there indicating I am looking.  Could you help me with this?

    I get these all the time. They're spammers/fishers. They're hoping they get some lonely soul to send them a private e-mail. Once they have a valid e-mail address, look out. Your box will flood with more pr0n sites and penis enlargement offers than you know what to do with.

    I think it is getting e-mail addresses. They must get a lot of people taken in with it. Too bad. A friend lost a lot of money on an email scam saying he had won something.

    These are usually scams where they lay a sob story on you and try to get you to send them money.
