Does anyone have any good country slide tabs, lessons or tips bookmarked? I have a couple licks figured out, but I'm feeling pretty limited. A friend wants to collaborate on a folk-country tune and I can imagine all the cool lap-steel style leads I could put in there. I just need to figure out how to get the guitar to make those noises.
Thanks,
Nathan.

Look at your tuning..if you want a more country sound on 3 string, you may want to try using the top half of the standard Dobro "high bass G", G-B-D. If you play lap style with high action, then you can do slants and behind the bar bends to get close to the classic lap steel and pedal steel sounds.
