Just bought some cookie tins at Big Lots, really
good selection if you've been looking for these.
In the Christmas isle. Anyone have any words
wisdom for 3 string cookie tin builds???
Thanks!

Mine is tuned DAd. I can play and sing Elvis' "Heartbreak Hotel" pretty good with that guitar.

There should be a lot of information about cookie tin (or cake tin) guitars on this website. You can start by looking through the group called "Can Jo Consortium". They have a discussion forum called something like "Cookie Tin Variety" where they discuss and have photos of instruments made from cake tins and cookie tins. You can also do a Google search using the words "cookie tin" and "cake tin" and the string "site:cigarboxnation.com" (minus the quotes of course). That should pull up a lot of information as well.
