I started builds of four CBGs about 5 years ago when I had a couple weeks between jobs and was trying to find cheap projects to keep me busy. Today, I had a rare afternoon free, but lacking the energy to do a big/real project, I decided to put in a couple hours and get these two finished.

The bulk of the work was done, all that remained was to fabricate the brass mounting plates for the audio jack and volume and tone pots, get them installed, and the components mounted

Both are built primarily from scraps of red oak with maple laminated into the centre of the necks. The decagon shaped guitar has wenge and padauk in the headstock and a wenge bridge and nut. The rectangular instrument has a maple stripe on the sides and padauk for bridge and nut.

Both pickups are recycled out of a "normal" guitar that received an electronics upgrade, the rest of the electronics were ordered from China on eBay.

Compliments, critiques, and comments are all welcome, thanks for looking!
